Welcome to my practice - a home for my creativity, curiosity and inspiration.

Creativity is far more than making beautiful things - it’s how we come home to ourselves.

Led by Curiosity, Sensitivity, and Connection

For over thirty years, I’ve worked as an educator, artist, and facilitator, helping people discover that creativity isn’t reserved for the naturally talented. It’s a way of noticing, playing, healing, and making sense of the world.

As a highly sensitive person,  I understand what it means to feel deeply, notice subtleties, and need space to think and create. Rather than seeing sensitivity as something to overcome, I see it as a source of wisdom, imagination, and compassion.

Nature as my teacher

The tidal pools of the Mediterranean and Cornwall, sea glass, weathered wood, gardens, and changing seasons remind me that nothing in nature is rushed and everything unfolds in its own time. That philosophy sits at the heart of everything I offer.  My artists' retreat cottage in Eskdale, the Lake District, nestled in 12 acres of woodland, is the perfect place to explore textures and colours of the forest.

Barbara A.W.

I found your gentle facilitation of this creative task really immersing.  I quickly got really involved in finding all the materials (you had a great supply and very easy to pick what I needed).  The activity got me deeply into both my creative side and my soul side, connecting me to the bond with all living things.  The mask I made also helped me in the later activity with Cindy, at ‘the council of all beings’, to embody the birds I was representing.  Thank you for a lovely experience and for making it relaxing and easy to  drop anxieties about performance. I was able to  concentrate on making contact with my inner self."
